Sometimes it can be really hard to strip away all the marketing ploys and reveal the truth. We all know that junk food is bad for us, but with the recent campaigns that Tom mentions in his post it can be awfully tempting to just to give in and think that we’re still making a smart choice.
Think again.
When I read this post, and in particular saw that long, long list of ingredients (plenty of which I can’t even pronounce) it just brings the whole blurry mess into sharp relief.
Junk food = bad. Whole foods, fruits and veggies = good.
Eat the junk if you like, but don’t, for a second, fool yourself that you’re actually doing anything good for your body!
