It takes most people years to accumulate belly fat yet they seem to expect that it can just disappear miraculously in an instant. Plus if you set your weekly goals too high then you’ll quickly run out of enthusiasm as your fail to achieve them week after week.
1-2 kilos or 2 to 4 pounds is recommended as the maximum, safe fat loss per week.

This is a great idea for writing down your goals and keeping track of your exercise and nutrition, daily.
Being forced to write down everything you eat and drink in a day keeps you honest and it means that at the end of every day you get to set new targets for the next day, or pat yourself on the back for a really good day.
