The bottom line with fat loss and the human body is that you need to eat less calories than your burn off.

This is important, this is one of those simple yet powerful truths- let me say it again:

burn more calories than you eat to lose fat.


This means that if you want to melt more fat from your body you must: 1. exercise more 2. decrease the number of calories you eat (note: I did not write “eat less”, take a look here).

Both methods work, but by far the most efficient and permanent way is to lose fat is through exercise.

Why?

Because this method burns fat without invoking the human body’s Starvation Response i.e. it doesn’t slow down your metabolism- it actually speeds it up.

And this is key- by making exercise your priority you will turn your body into a super revved engine that processes food efficiently.

If you do this, then I can promise that non-one ever again will ever be able to quote to you “a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips”!
